With the release of the Girls' Willow Raglan comes something else that is new to SSD--trimless pages! I am a huge fan of trimless patterns and I hope you guys love this change too. Additionally, there is no separate US Letter and A4 pattern files! Using Acrobat Reader, simply select which format you use in the layers section. Easy peasy!
I will be honest...Harbor's school dress code had me less than thrilled about sewing for school when I first learned of their "uniform" policy this summer. Once I finally moved past the fact I couldn't sew all my pretty floral fabrics for her, it turned out to be pretty fun and a fantastic sewing challenge for me! Talk to me in 9 years when she is finishing 8th grade and I've been sewing these colors for that long though...I might feel a little different ha.
The Summer Dawn Wrap Dress is very dear to my heart as it was designed for my sister, Summer Dawn, to get ready in on her wedding day. I used the short dress (View A) for myself and the other bridesmaids to get ready in and created her gorgeous dress by a simple mod on the short dress.
I chose to mash the Women's Highlander Dolman and Solstice Wrap during Mash-up March and love how it turned out!! I'm always on the look out for new trends and design ideas. This time my inspiration came to me while I was at the gym of all places. Running on the treadmill, thinking of Mash-up March ideas and a girl so happened to hop on a bike right in front of me and she had on a top very similar to this. I knew immediately I had to recreate it!
The Rhapsody Joggers are fitted through the calves so it's important to have the right amount of stretch for this pattern. There is a stretch gauge located on the front pant leg pattern piece which you can use to measure the stretch percentage of your fabric.
