Current emotions: Inspired, Excited, Nervous, Anxious and VERY grateful. I’m about to put my heart and soul and creative passions {and sleepless nights} out there for the world to test, to critique… and then maybe, HOPEFULLY to rely on.
My creative journey has recently urged me to embark on a thrilling new path! One that started when my grandmother gave me my first sewing machine for my High School Graduation {more to come on that in later posts}. I have been working endlessly on creating something that I can express my style, inspirations and artful appreciations through. I have been knee high in slopers {which by the way my 2.5yr old does not like to try on because they are not pink or have flowers on them}, bent over with measuring tapes, rotary cutters and beautifully made fabric and countless hours logged in Adobe's Creative Suite to make sure Every. Single. Little. Detail. Is. PERFECT.
But still, after all my blood sweat and tears and a bottle of wine {okay maybe more than one} I need to take the next step…TESTING.
Help me make certain that the release of my FIRST PATTERN into the public world of creative individuals will provide an easy, inspiring experience for all skill levels. I need honest, kind testers to help ensure, first, that I’m not crazy, and most importantly that this pattern is of peak quality before the big {scary} release.
Who: Any and all sewing levels needed
What: Test produce (at least) one pair of the Striped Swallow Designs– Coachella Shorts
When: Testing will begin on June 28th – this Saturday – and run through July 2nd. {Shorts are a super quick sew and take a minimal amount of fabric}
How: Fill out and submit the form at the end of this post. You will receive an email within the next couple of days if you are chosen for testing.
If you like to sew for yourself, then keep an eye out for the Women's Coachella Shorts testing that will take place in a few weeks.
